Emma has toiled for everything she has and takes pride in the basic life she has made for herself as an orphan and grandmother's granddaughter. She's always desired an ideal marriage but has a history of disastrous relationships. When she begins a flirtation with the affluent Ted, a man she has long admired from afar, and says yes to marrying him, she believes she has finally found her soul mate and is quickly thrust into a world far more opulent than she is accustomed to. This universe also includes Ted's attractive twin brother Frank, who has feelings for her that transcend familial admiration. While Ted used his inheritance to build a thriving global technology company, Frank pursued a different path, traveling the country and leaving a trail of run-ins with the authorities and one-night encounters.
