The Gendarme Takes Off
The entire police station clique in Cruchot has retired. Now he resides with his wealthy bride at her castle, where he is nearly bored to death. He quarrels with the butler since he is not even permitted to perform simple tasks. However, when one of the group suffers from amnesia following an accident, the others regroup and kidnap him in order to take him on a tour of their previous workplaces and memories. In their outdated uniforms, they flip St. Tropez on its head.
