Naoko and aki are childhood friends that are drifting apart as adults. Immersed in her life, Naoko now features a partner and daughter. Aki, alternatively, is about to leave from work and remains only due to a private tragedy. The storyline may sound familiar however, it has not been told like that. The director Kusano Natsuka stages the connections through an actors' table-read and, since the lines have been repeatedthe scenes grow into conversations. More over, she repositions the story's stunning summit to the beginning: Naoko's daughter has been murdered by Aki.
