Set after the events of Continental Drift,'' Scrat's epic pursuit of his acorn that is evasive catapults him out of Earth, at which he sets off a collection of cosmic events that transform and endanger Earth. To save themselves from peril, Manny, Sid, Diego, and the remainder of the herd leave their house and embark on a quest filled with excitement and spills, highs and lows, laughter and adventure when traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a range of colorful new characters.
