Peter Parker is a high schooler. Like many adolescents, Peter is hoping to figure out how he must be the person and who he is. Since Peter finds a mysterious briefcase which belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance -- leading him right to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his dad's former partner. Since spider man is put to a collision course with Connors' alterego, The Lizard, Peter can make life-altering decisions shape his destiny and to make use of his powers.
