Unexpected and ironic relationships develop between a lady who flees an abusive relationship to start a new life in a new city, where she meets and falls in love with a suicide hit man (unbeknownst to her). As this plot begins to unravel, a worn-out, alcoholic detective enters the picture to serve as the third person in a very unique triangle.
