A former missionary, katherine Morrissey, lost her beliefs following her family's horrible deaths. She applies her expertise to debunking religious happenings. Katherine arrives to prove that a supernatural force is not supporting the happenings, but soon discovers that science can't explain what's happening, when a series of biblical plagues inundated a small town. She has to regain her faith to combat.
