The Suburbans, an 80s one-hit wonder band, reform for a special performance at one of the ex-members' wedding. At the wedding, a young talent scout from a record business happens to be in the audience and decides to give thenow-40-ish artists a second chance. The film attempts a satirical examination of the 1990s music industry, contrasting it with the simpler 1980s environment.
