A scene from a 1994 Italian film The war in the Balkans continues apace, with no sign of a resolution in sight. A young man from Sarajevo by the name of Elvis is surviving on the streets by snapping pictures of tourists with his Polaroid camera. Following the theft of his camera, Elvis decides to pay a visit to Rodolfo, a complete stranger whom he met by chance in Venice. Their brief and lonely encounter takes place in the timeless landscape of whitewashed towns, rolling green hills, and olive groves that characterizes the southern Italian countryside.
