Decision Before Dawn

The last phase of World War II is about to begin. Germany is in ruins, but it doesn't give up. The US army doesn't know very much about the German units on the other side of the Rhine, so it decides to send two German prisoners to get information from them about what they do. The plan is risky because the Gestapo has a very good system for finding and capturing spies and deserters. It's not clear whether "Tiger," who doesn't mind dirty work as long as the price is right, and "Happy," who might be easily betrayed by his feelings, are good agents. After Tiger and another American agent are able to get into the country, Happy is dropped off in Bavaria. What did he have to do? He had to find out where a powerful German armored unit was moving towards the western front.
