Everything Is Cinema
Chris, a young filmmaker from Kerala who works independently, is moved to action after watching the documentary Calcutta, which was directed by Louis Malle in1969. Chris has the ambition to create the updated version of the film on his own. For the purpose of working on his documentary, he relocates to Kolkata with his wife Anita, who is also an actor in movies. In the midst of already making headway on the documentary's filming, an outbreak of the Corona virus occurs in India, and his producer refuses to release the monies that he had previously committed to give. Chris and Anita are cooped up inside the leased apartment in Kolkata for the duration of the lockdown that has been ordered by the government. Chris decides to make a film about his own marriage without Anita's knowledge in order to release the pent-up resentment that he has harbored for so long.
