Isoken

Everyone Else in the Osayande family worries about Isoken. Even though she's what appears to be a great life - beautiful, surrounded by amazing family members and friends and powerful - Isoken is still unmarried at 34 which, at a culture obsessed with union, is cause for concern. Matters come to a head in her youngest sister's marriage after her mother thrusts her with the ultimate Edo man, Osaze to an orchestrated match-making. Osaze is powerful and out of a good family, making him the Nigerian husband material. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Isoken and he just could be what she wants in a mate and Kevin who she discovers herself falling in love with meet. The one issue is, not only is he not an Edo person, but he is Oyinbo (Caucasian). Isoken is really just a dramedy that investigates the bonds which unite families at a way that is touching, dramatic and comedic , racial stereotypes and cultural expectations.
