Monster Beach

When Jan and her brother Dean are shipped off to visit with their drop-out uncle, Woody, a routine summer vacation becomes complex. A quiet island, fantastic surf, and a laid-back adult in control should be the epitome of heaven. What could be better than that? But why is it that this location is so deserted? What is causing the jungle to take over the town, and what are those strange noises coming from the beach? When it turns out that the inhabitants are actually surf-crazed monsters who don't like tourists, the horrific reality is revealed. At least not at first. Everything changes when a rogue property developer shows up. Sibling rivalry and genetic distinctions vanish as everyone joins forces to defend the peculiar small town they've all come to call home.
