The story of Chow Chee Beng, a middle-aged white collar manager who gets laid off by his employer and the protagonist of the heartwarming musical family comedy Number One, which chronicles his journey. Chee Beng reluctantly accepts a position as a manager at the well-known drag club "Number One" after a string of unsuccessful interviews. Soon enough, Chee Beng is coerced into donning drag and performing on stage alongside the other drag queens. Chee Beng, to no one's surprise, is a natural drag queen, and his performance blows the minds of the crowds!
