Scum

This may be the story of life at a Borstal for young offenders. The brutal regime made no effort to reform or enhance the offenders and consciously invited a power struggle between the'demanding' brand new inmate and the'hands'. This picture is a remake, by exactly the identical director and writer, of a 1977 BBC teleplay banned before broadcast [see Scum (1991)].
