The Elephant Man

A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured person being abused by his"owner" as a side show freak. Behind his façade that was monstrous, there's revealed a man of intelligence and sensitivity. Primarily based on the true story of Joseph Merrick (called John Merrick in the picture ), a severely deformed person in 19th century London.
