The General

During the Civil War Union of America spies throw scientist the beloved locomotive of Johnnie Gray the typical - his female love, Annabelle Lee, aboard a boxcar - plus he must do all in his power to both get the typical back to save Annabelle. Released during most of the entire world in 1927, this Silent film flopped when originally released, but now could be looked upon as one of the excellent American motion pictures. The story is centered on actual historic events.
