The Hairdresser's Husband

The opening sequence of the movie is a flashback narrated by the main character, Antoine. We are made aware of his lifelong preoccupation with female hairdressers, which started when he was quite young. The majority of the movie is told in flashbacks, and numerous connections are made to events that occurred in the past. We do not know what Antoine has done with his life, but we do know that he has accomplished one of his goals from his younger years, which was to marry a hairdresser.
