The Unsinkable Molly Brown
Mountains in the distance, waterfall in the foreground. Is that a canoe? It's a cradle with a baby, not a crib. Molly Brown has weathered her first disaster— a flood. So she sets out on her own at sixteen. Does she have the ability to sing and play the piano? Sure, she promises the Leadville saloon keeper. She will soon be married to Johnny Brown, who will be able to replace the cigar wrapper wedding band with a gold and jewel duplicate. But it takes more than a million dollars to fit in in Denver. A party in Denver escalates into a ballroom brawl when the Browns travel to Europe. Molly travels to Europe on her own and returns on the Titanic. So the narrative doesn't finish here.
