Call of the Wildman
Call of the Wildman is a American reality television show that airs on the Animal Planet network. The series' 3rd season is now airing. The show follows the exploits of Kentucky woodsman Ernie Brown, Jr., nick named"The Turtleman". Aided Neal James by his friend, along with his dog, Lolly,'' a nuisance animal removal firm functions, catching the animals without harming them and releasing them back. The show is largely filmed near the Lebanon, Kentucky, home of Brown.
Brown began catching snapping turtles out of ponds near his home at age 7. He came after a episode of Kentucky Educational Television's Kentucky Afield show that went viral and featured his methods was submitted on YouTube in a part to the interest of Animal Planet producers. After visiting Brown and doing some initial filming, network executives decided to produce a 12-episode season of the series with all the name The Turtleman of Wild Kentucky. The title was soon changed to Phone a reference to the distinctive shout of Brown that punctuates his actions all through the series, of the Wildman. The show was the most watched program from the fourth quarter of 2011 of Animal Planet and has been revived. Animal World has re-released the show using bonus features along with information called Phone of the Wildman: More LiveAction.
