Interceptor
Interceptor is a game Series Developed by Jacques Antoine, Jean Jacques Pasquier and Malcolm Heyworth. It was produced by Chatsworth in association with Thames and shown on the ITV system with one final episode shown on 1 January 1990 for a New Year special and held straight back, during the summer of 1989. It was made among The Crystal Maze and treasure-hunt, game shows by the production company.
The show was hosted treasure-hunt sky-runner Annabel Croft and by former tennis player. The Interceptor was played by actor Sean O'Kane.
Interceptor was received well by critics and audiences, yet only eight episodes were made. Nevertheless, the show has something of a cult following, which impacted reruns from 2001 onwards on digital television channel Challenge. A people vote from UKGameshows.com in 2002 saw the series voted the UK's 13th best match show.
