Inuyashiki: Last Hero

Inuyashiki Ichirou is down on his luck. While just 58 years old, his looks that are geriatric have him written off as a pathetic old man on the planet around him and his loved always ignored and disrespected him despite that he's done to support them. In addition to anything else, his doctor has revealed he has cancer and it appears he has little time left on the planet. But when it seems things couldn't get any worse, on the earth where Ichirou stands is struck by a light in the night skies. He wakes up to get himself unscathed, but he soon starts to notice there is something... different about himself. However, it turns out that these strange, new changes are only what Ichirou should have a fresh lease on life now it seems like there's nothing to prevent him from being a hero worth this esteem he never needed before... unless, that is, there was somebody else available using exactly the very same changes...
