A little girl who packs a punch, tsumiki Miniwa, is deeply in love with her very best friend, tall and easygoing Io Otonashi. The problem is she can't bring herself to come out and declare it. And, in spite of the fact he is able to read her like a publication, Io doesn't seem to be able to pick up the obvious clues--despite most their friends teasing that there's no better suited for each other. Acchi Kocchi follows her group of friends and Tsumiki while they undergo their lives. Between Sakaki the goodnatured prankster, Mayoi the electronics nerd along with the Hime, Tsumiki's friends will never let her live her ass down. But only time will tell if Tsumiki will obtain the guts to finally say the way she feels.
