Rescue: Special Ops

2009 marked the premiere of the Australian drama series Rescue: Special Ops on the Nine Network. Southern Star Group, with support from Screen Australia and the New South Wales Government, produces the program, which was filmed in and around Sydney. This drama focuses on a squad of skilled paramedics who specialize in rescue operations. It premiered on Sunday, August2,2009, and the first season finale aired on Sunday, October25, 2009. The second season debuted on June 28, 2010. Beginning on May 30, 2011, the third and final season of 22 episodes began airing. The Nine Network has revealed that Rescue Special Ops will not be renewed for a fourth season.
