Zoboomafoo
The American children's television series Zoboomafoo debuted on January25,1999, and ran until April28,2001. It is still broadcast today in syndication in various parts of the country, and it can be seen on PBS Kids Sprout on a consistent basis. A total of 65 programs were shown on television. It was created by the Kratt Brothers, and it contains a talking Coquerel's Sifaka, a sort of lemur named Zoboomafoo, or Zoboo for short, as well as a variety of animal guests who make recurring appearances. The Kratt brothers are introduced at the beginning of each episode in "Animal Junction," an unique setting in which the laws of nature are bent and wild creatures come to visit and have fun. Following the 16th of January in2004, the show was removed from its weekday airings on the majority of PBS stations; nevertheless, some stations continue to air the show.
